Sold as swivel, swivel with side brake or rigid. Twenty-four wheel materials, from phenolic and polyolefin to polyurethane, rubber, nylon, semi-steel and V-groove, so the same fork fits shop carts, platform trucks and machinery.

    What plate size and bolt pattern does the 34 Series use?

    The 34 Series mounts on one plate size. 4 x 4-1/2 in. plate: bolt hole spacing 2-5/8 x 3-5/8 to 3 x 3 in., 3/8 in. bolts. The holes are slotted, so measure your old plate center to center and match the spacing, not just the plate outline.

    How much weight can a 34 Series caster carry?

    300 to 1,250 lb per caster, depending on wheel diameter and material. By wheel size: 4 in. wheels 300 to 1,250 lb; 5 in. wheels 350 to 1,250 lb; 6 in. wheels 500 to 1,250 lb; 8 in. wheels 600 to 1,250 lb.     Does the 34 Series come with a brake?

    Yes. Swivel 34 Series casters are available with a side brake: a steel lever on the side of the fork that you step down to lock the wheel and lift to release (also called a top lock brake). Rigid casters have no brake.

    34 Series casters carry a 1 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Normal wear, overloading, misuse and improper installation are not covered. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

    What is the difference between the 34 Series and the 45 Series?

    Compared with the 34 Series, the 45 Series uses the same 2 in. wide wheels, sizes and 4 x 4-1/2 in. plate, but its swivel is kingpinless (no kingpin bolt, a sealed induction-hardened raceway) and it is rated up to 2,000 lb per caster instead of 1,250 lb, for shock loads and tow-line use.
