This listing is for our 4" diameter by 1-1/4" wide Total Locking Plate Caster with a steel wheel. The wheel is made of a gray iron, also known as a semi-steel wheel material, that is non-marking but can scratch expensive or harder floors when the caster is unable to swivel properly. Total locking brake allows you to simultaneously lock the swivel raceway and the wheel with the simple press of our metal brake pedal. Total Locking Casters are the most secure type of locking casters because they allow your cart or equipment to become completely stationary when the brakes are engaged.
